Wild Bird Trust photographers of the week

A good start for the weekend because I´m happy to see my picture at National Geographic’s website.

It’s one my first photo of the White Wagtail, or Pied as it’s also called, this season. The photo is taken at Hökällan here in Gothenburg. This was taken just when I got my hands on the Nikon D800, that I now use, so I was just out having a go with the new camera. I do think this is one of the better photos I have taken this year.

I really enjoy the water as background and how the grass makes for a diffuse foreground. Overall a photo I can be proud of.
