Read about my elephant experience in Zakouma National Park as well as some of the Zakoumas recent history. How they have managed to move on from an elephant population spiralling downwards to a hope of reaching 1000 individuals by 2024.
A hunt in camp is special and to witness Painted Dogs hunt and kill three times around camp the same day is crazy. We witnessed three kills in a single day and know there must have been at least two more successful hunts just outside of camp.
