Image of the day at Whytake.net

My image of a male Golden Eagle from March this year has been chosen as the “Image of the Day” at Whytake.net the 4th of September.

Whytake.net is a global community of Nature Photographers that I joined at the start of September. The reasoning is to have an extra channel for my upcoming Botswana workshop.

That meant I had to put up a couple of pictures to have a small portfolio for people to look at and one of those pictures actually got chosen as “Image of the Day”.

A pleasure indeed

It is a privilege to have an image chosen as “Image of the Day” because the quality shown is real high. You will find many inspiring photos and most are of an extremely high quality imho.

I think that one picture stands out among many the others.

One Seat Taken, One Seat Available

It is a really nice photo of a Banded Demoiselle. What strikes me with this photo is the clear lines from the bent reed and that is what makes this picture for me. The Banded Demoiselle is the icing on the cake and it makes the picture something extra.

The photographer is Misja Smits. A competent photographer from Holland with many great photos in her portfolio. You can see her work here if you are interested.

Plans moving forward

I will certainly put up more of my work on Whytake.net when I feel that I have something worth showing. I will also continue to use Whytale.net as a place for ads, specially for my upcoming workshop “Magical Mana Pools“. Soon, I hope I will have all documents ready for this workshop. Mana Pools National Parik is the place to visit if you want a see Africa from foot.
