Three new pictures on show in my portfolios
I have begun the work with going thru the pictures from my vacation on Öland. The reason why I choose Öland instead of Hungary is the amount of work it will take to sort out the pictures from Hungary. If I say that I have 300-400 pictures from Öland then I have 5 times more from Hungary and that will take lot of time to go thourough.
I have made a new gallery called Öland 2012 and I will add pictures there from time to time.
I hope to find pictures that is good enough to end up in one of my portfolios. After going thru the photos from the two first days I found three pictures that I choose to put into my portfolios.
The first pictures is of a Pine Marten and this photo ended up in the Animals portfolio.
This creature was found scavenging the beach at Ölands most northern point. I was surprised to see it and it must have been as surprised to find me and Maria there that morning. I like the curiosity in the picture as the Pine Marten is checking out Maria.
The two other pictures end up in the Landscape & Details portfolio
I took this photo just a few minutes after the Pine Marten photo and what I like is the different color layers from the background to the foreground. It is a nice summer picture for me. My first thought was to document the fishing boat, but I think the picture became better than what I had hoped for.
The last picture is of a butterfly. I sadly miss a macro lens so I had to taken the photo with my tele lens. It makes for a good substitute, but it’s not the same as a proper macro lens.
Still I like the detail in the picture and in particular the eye of the butterfly. It is also nice to see this neutral Butterfly as most Butterflies seems to be on the other side of the spectrum so to say.
I hope you have enjoyed these three photos and please look at the Öland 2012 gallery and the Animals and Landscape & Details portfolios.
