A hunt in camp is special and to witness Painted Dogs hunt and kill three times around camp the same day is crazy. We witnessed three kills in a single day and know there must have been at least two more successful hunts just outside of camp.
Painted Wolf
The Painted Dog is a diurnal carnivore living in packs. They are endangered due to loss of habitat, but also because they are susceptible to diseases such as rabies, contracted usually from domestic animals.
