A step back in the weather
Today there has been celebrations in the family. It´s both my father and brothers birthday today so I have spent the evening eating dinner at my father’s place and cake at my brother´s.
Still I had time to go out hunting for the picture of a Black Grouse in the morning. This hunt leads me to Vänga Mosse outside of Borås. The sun was up when I left home, but the temperature was just above zero and snow started to fall as I came nearer Borås. This felt like a huge step back from the weather we have had during last week.
It wasn´t heavy snowfall, but still snow. I am not the biggest fan of snow and particularly not now when the spring has come this far. I really hope this step back is short-lived and that the leaves turn green in the next couple of days.
As I got out of the car at Vänga Mosse I could feel the cold wind. Not the greatest start, but I had driven 80 km and a cold wind wasn´t going to stop me.
I soon realized that I wasn´t the only living thing that didn´t like the cold. So I hiked around in the area for some time and took photos of the surroundings just to show how it looked.

This is more Laponia to me and not a biotope I thought I could find here in West Gothland.
I´ll hopefully go back here a sunny day to see how the area comes to life. I suspect one can see many intresting sights here during the year, but this wasn´t the day. Still I am going to check the reports from this area because it is easily accessible to me.
